My Hero Ultra Rumble, is it worth your time? Good news for Gatcha games.

A new free-to-play is making a lot of battle royale-type genre fans happy and others do like how they incorporated one of the most famous anime from this generation with " cheap Fortnite imitation. As a free-to-play game, I decided to try it out and see it for myself, and after 50 hours into the game, Im going to point out what I liked and what I did, for you to see if it is worth your time. Is My Hero Ultra Rumble a good free-to-play and should you try it? Here are the positives and negatives: Positive- The gameplay is very responsive with each character having unique melee combos and quirks( the powers in My Hero Academia anime). Negative- Although the gameplay is solid, the aim is pretty rough on Playstation, and thats bad because like any other battle royale, if an enemy sees you from afar they will try to take you out. You can turn on the aim assist to help you but I do recommend it because its too aggressive, it reminds me of the aim assist of games like GTA V where when you click the button the aim goes directly to the target and you can imagine the chaos on an online game. Positive- Each season lasts about two months and there is plenty to do and collect if you e a completionist( daily, seasonal missions, completing cool image boards, etc...). Negative- For now, not a lot of game modes to play, you can only play battle royale and training mode. Negative- Only one map and its not very large so it can get pretty repetitive very quickly but if the data mines are something to believe in then, they are working on adding different rules and more maps so maybe this negative will become positive shortly. Positive- Im sure you e think that these types of free games will shove you with paywalls and force you to pay so you can get the things you want, right? Well yes and no... You can get everything with little payment but the system is confusing and thats the reason people end up paying thinking that is the only way. I will give an example: The pro license costs 4, 800 crystals, thats about 10 bucks in real money. In a single day without any cost, you can do event missions and then go to the event shop and acquire 7, 000 crystals just by playing. Lets say you spend those crystals on a pro license and max it out, you get another 4, 800 crystals plus some tickets and other rewards included which is more than enough for the next pro license coming next season( remember, each season lasts two months). There are even more ways to get crystals, for example, completing seasonal missions. Overall pretty friendly for players who like to get everything by just playing the game. Of course, if you don mind spending a couple of bucks to speed up the process, you can do that too but the game never forces you to put in money. Pro tip: I recommend you save some crystals for the next season because you never know if they decide to give you fewer crystals in future seasons keep that in mind.
