PlayStation Plus Extra Games – July 2026
Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora – PS5
Available globally on July 21

Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is a first-person open-world action game set in Pandora’s previously unexplored Western Frontier.
You play as a Na’vi who was abducted and trained by the RDA before eventually escaping. The journey involves reconnecting with the Na’vi clans, exploring the environment, improving your equipment and fighting back against the human forces occupying Pandora.
Trophy information
🏆 Trophy Difficulty: 3.5/10
⏱️ Platinum Time: 40–60 hours
🔁 Minimum Playthroughs: 1
⚠️ Missable Trophies: None
The Platinum can be completed on the lowest difficulty and does not contain any permanently missable trophies. Most of the time is spent finishing the story, clearing side activities and locating the collectibles required for specific trophies.
PowerPyx estimates a difficulty of 3.5/10 and 40–60 hours, while PlayStationTrophies gives it a similar 4/10 rating and a 40–50-hour completion estimate.
Trophy Hunter Verdict: A straightforward open-world Platinum, but the amount of exploration and collectible cleanup may begin to feel repetitive near the end.

Rise of the Ronin – PS5
Available July 15 in the US and UK, July 16 in Japan, and July 21 in other regions
Rise of the Ronin is Team Ninja’s open-world action RPG set during a period of political conflict and social upheaval in 19th-century Japan.
Players create their own warrior, build relationships with historical characters and make decisions that influence parts of the story while mastering a combat system built around counters, weapon styles and precise timing.
Trophy information
🏆 Trophy Difficulty: 3–4/10
⏱️ Platinum Time: 40–60 hours
🔁 Minimum Playthroughs: 1
⚠️ Missable Trophies: None
Despite Team Ninja’s reputation for difficult action games, Rise of the Ronin has a surprisingly accessible Platinum.
The majority of the game can be completed on an easier difficulty. Only one optional Ronin Mission must be completed on Midnight difficulty after finishing the story.
PowerPyx rates the Platinum 3/10 with an average completion time of approximately 50 hours. PlayStationTrophies places it slightly higher at 4/10 and around 40 hours. Community discussions generally describe it as one of Team Ninja’s easiest Platinum Trophies.
Trophy Hunter Verdict: The strongest all-round Platinum in this month’s lineup. It is lengthy enough to feel rewarding without demanding an entire high-difficulty playthrough.
**Firefighting Simulator: Ignite – PS5
Available globally on July 21**
Firefighting Simulator: Ignite puts players in the role of a firefighter working across a large American city.
Missions involve entering burning buildings, controlling dynamic fires, rescuing civilians and coordinating with either AI-controlled teammates or up to three other players in cooperative multiplayer.
Trophy information
🏆 Trophy Difficulty: 3/10
⏱️ Platinum Time: Approximately 18 hours
🔁 Minimum Playthroughs: 1
⚠️ Online Required: No, although co-op may make some missions easier
The Platinum primarily requires completing the available missions, earning mission ratings and performing different firefighting-related actions.
The PSNProfiles guide estimates a 3/10 difficulty, one playthrough and approximately 18 hours. Earlier trophy problems were also addressed through post-launch updates, according to the developer’s official patch notes and later player reports.
Trophy Hunter Verdict: One of the best shorter Platinums in July’s lineup, particularly for players who have a reliable co-op partner.
**Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita’s Rewind – PS5, PS4
Available July 28 in the US, UK and Japan**
Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita’s Rewind is a retro-inspired side-scrolling beat ’em up featuring the original Power Rangers.
The campaign combines traditional brawler stages with motorcycle sequences and Megazord battles as the Rangers attempt to stop Robo Rita from rewriting their history.
Trophy information
🏆 Trophy Difficulty: Approximately 6/10
⏱️ Platinum Time: Approximately 10–15 hours
🔁 Minimum Playthroughs: More than one campaign run or extensive level replay
⚠️ Difficulty-Related Trophies: Yes
Do not mistake the game’s short campaign for an easy Platinum.
The trophy list requires completing the game on Headache difficulty, finishing character-specific goals, collecting every hidden item and completing some stages under additional restrictions.
Community members have highlighted the aggressive enemy AI, difficult Megazord sequences and demanding secondary goals as the main obstacles. Trophy resources similarly describe it as a tougher completion than its presentation initially suggests.
Trophy Hunter Verdict: Short but challenging. Recommended for experienced beat ’em up players rather than anyone simply searching for a quick Platinum.
**Dying Light – PS4
Available July 28 in the US, UK and Japan**
Dying Light combines first-person parkour, survival horror and melee combat in a city devastated by a zombie outbreak.
Players can explore alone or join other survivors in cooperative multiplayer while collecting resources, improving their abilities and attempting to survive the significantly more dangerous nighttime infected.
Trophy information
🏆 Trophy Difficulty: 4/10
⏱️ Platinum Time: Approximately 40–60 hours
🔁 Minimum Playthroughs: 1
🌐 Co-op Trophies: Yes
Dying Light’s Platinum is not especially difficult, but it requires a considerable time investment.
The list includes story progression, side missions, combat challenges, collectibles and multiplayer-related requirements. Players should pay particular attention to the cooperative trophies, as organising the necessary group can be more difficult than completing the actual objectives.
PlayStationTrophies rates the base-game Platinum at approximately 4/10.
Trophy Hunter Verdict: A very enjoyable Platinum with friends, but trophy hunters should secure the multiplayer requirements before the game’s online population becomes less active.
**Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector – PS5
Available July 28 in the US, UK and Japan**
Citizen Sleeper 2 is a narrative RPG inspired by tabletop role-playing games.
As an artificial body containing an emulated human consciousness, you must escape your pursuers, acquire a ship, recruit a crew and complete dangerous contracts throughout the Starward Belt.
Your daily actions are determined through dice rolls, while failed decisions, stress and damaged dice can influence the direction of your journey.
Trophy information
🏆 Trophy Difficulty: Approximately 4/10
⏱️ Platinum Time: 30–35 hours
🔁 Minimum Playthroughs: 2 recommended
⚠️ Missable Trophies: Yes
🎚️ Difficulty-Related Trophies: Yes
The Platinum requires completing the game on Dangerous difficulty, successfully completing contracts, recruiting the available crew members and witnessing several outcomes connected to player decisions.
Because certain choices and missions can be missed, two playthroughs are recommended unless players follow a detailed route from the beginning.
Achievement guides estimate approximately 30–35 hours for full completion, while trophy hunters describe the Platinum as relatively straightforward provided that contracts are handled successfully and the Dangerous-difficulty requirement is planned in advance.
Trophy Hunter Verdict: Not mechanically difficult, but careful decision-making and proper save management are strongly recommended.
**Snow Bros. Wonderland – PS5
Available July 28 in the US, UK and Japan**
Snow Bros. Wonderland brings the classic arcade series into a colourful 3D isometric world.
Players defeat enemies by covering them in snow, turning them into snowballs and launching them across the stage to create chain reactions. The campaign also includes large bosses, hidden items and increasingly demanding level objectives.
Trophy information
🏆 Trophy Difficulty: Approximately 4–5/10
⏱️ Platinum Time: Approximately 15–25 hours
🔁 Minimum Playthroughs: 1, with level cleanup
⚠️ Difficulty-Related Trophies: Yes
The Platinum involves clearing stages, finding hidden collectibles, completing challenges and defeating the game’s hardest content.
Community trophy discussions indicate that the higher-difficulty requirements noticeably increase the challenge, raising what would otherwise be an accessible 3/10 completion into the 4–5/10 range.
Some stage-specific objectives and timed sections may also require several attempts or the use of helpful character abilities.
Trophy Hunter Verdict: A medium-length arcade Platinum with a few genuine difficulty spikes. More demanding than its family-friendly visual style suggests.
**PlayStation Plus Premium Games – July 2026**
Psi-Ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy – PS5, PS4
Available globally on July 21
**Indigo Prophecy/Farenheint**
