Nintendo Switch pricing will change gaming for the next couple of years

I usually put this in the **NEWS** category on this website, but it's too important and I would like to talk about it. Remember the discussion between players about how much GTA VI will cost?? Before, some people were like, "It's a huge game, so it will probably cost around 80 to 90 or even 100 bucks," but at the same time, they were just speculating, and they also hoped that that was a singular case, as nowadays, they already cost 80. ![v](https://i.imgur.com/vEqNgD5.jpeg) **For GTA VI, it makes sense, right?** ![v](https://i.imgur.com/jbaimVb.jpeg) **A new challenger approaches!** Daddy Nintendo announced the Switch 2 with the breaking news that digital games will cost $80, and physical games will cost up to $100! They were waiting for the opportunity, guys, **NOT EVEN THE TUTORIAL IS FREE!!!** I Can't believe how there are people defending it, no wonder they put into practice shitty tactics as they know there will always be people okay with it. How can you expect a kid with a lower to medium household income to go to their parents, look them in the eyes, and ask," Dad, can I get Mario Kart for my Nintendo Switch 2 this Christmas?" The dad will look at the game's price and say," 100? I'm sorry, kiddo, but maybe next time, as soon as he gets on sale, I'll buy it for you, alright?" **Little Timmy never got the game, as Nintendo is known for not dropping prices.** It's the '90s all over again. ![v](https://i.imgur.com/J5K2uX3.jpeg) Sony was the one who opened the path to making the games cheaper, allowing a legitimate competitor based on a CD console at the time. That was the birth of PlayStation 1. Game cube saw the success and wanted a piece of the pie, so they did the same, with this regression happening** a new age of Piracy and Capitalism is upon us.** It's the first time I feel like the Gaming industry has crossed the line, and there's no going back.
