Tekken 8 season 2 is here and no one is happy

Since day one, I have been a big fan of the franchise, starting with Tekken 3. Before that, I played the beta and thought at the time that the Heat actions were overpowered, and the gameplay offered too many offensive options in contrast to the defensive ones. **Season 1, they took the feedback from players like me and backed down in that regard.** Then, Season 2 came out on April... And, to be honest, I don't know who thought it was a good idea to return to the BETA phase, but this is where we are today, folks. I'll give you a brief overview of what changed (keep in mind I'm neither a casual player nor a professional; I'm just good enough to get to Tekken King without much struggle). **Positive: The Ranking system now makes sense, and it's much harder to climb up. As a result, if you lose, you lose 1000 points, and if you win, you gain 1000 points, which is fair compared to the irregularities in season 1, where the numbers were sometimes inconsistent. ** **Positive: Every character has new ways to play and execute combos, which are excellent to learn(except Lee, he's been cast aside with minor differences, which makes no difference whatsoever)** Now for the negatives: **Negative: Now it's all about attack, as even escaping grapples, the person takes damage...** That means that now you're fighting more and more against the character, not the player, as if everyone becomes special, then no one is. **Negative: ANA, yes im sorry but she is by far the most unteresting character as now shes the hornier verion of Nina plus her Bazzoka encapsulates everything wrong with this season as her chip damage is crazy and if you get hit you lose** ![v](https://i.imgur.com/GkhtRXs.jpeg) **Negative: Now it's a true 50/50 casino as characters now, if they get you on the air, you're done.** **Negative: Throws now even if you escape, you get damage while escaping, WHATTTT???** **Yup, that means that the reward you get from reacting is a little damage, like it was a slap on the wrist for being good at defense.** It's so bad right now that even pros are considering dropping off until it gets fixed. They took the saying of "The best offence is a good defence" and flipped it around and said to us: **Nah, who needs defense when you have offence?** Fire that guy...
