Ghostrunner 2 Boss Tier List Difficulty

Rules of the Tier List: Walk in The Park(0 to 50 Deaths) Kinda Easy( 51 to 100 Deaths) Nice Warm Up( 101 to 150 Deaths) Tough Challenge( 151 to 200 Deaths) I Need A Break( 201 to 300 Deaths). After tons and tons of hours invested in Ghostrunner 2, I decided to make a Tier List of the bosses from the Easiest to the Hardest from my experience. To determine that metric, I'll use a DEATH COUNTER as it makes sense that the more deaths, the more trouble I had. ![v](https://i.imgur.com/nLSeQE4.jpeg) AHRIMAN: 7 DEATHS As one of the Elite groups known as ASHURAS, AHRIMAN is proud of his title. In the face-off, he consistently downplays the fact that the main protagonist, JACK, is a NUMBER, which in this world is the worst class of AI. His aggressive play style would be considered a brute, but he's also fast, as he can travel from one side of the arena to the other in seconds. He has two phases, but the only difference is that you need to grapple BAKUNIN in the second phase to dodge the wave he creates on the ground when he jumps. It was an awesome fight overall, as I love a 1V1 showdown. ![v](https://i.imgur.com/NYKTIsr.jpeg) RAHU AKA AVATAR: 8 DEATHS This seems much more complicated at first than it is, as you don't fight RAHU directly. Instead, you try to reach him while he throws obstacles at you, like lasers and sonic waves. I usually struggle much more as it is an extended platform section with many obstacles. But, and it's a BIG BUT, the fight only has three types of traps but seems more as it does come frequently. The three types are: Turning the faded yellow light into Blue, jumping when you see a wave coming in your direction, either on the ground or while wall-running, and sliding when you see the lasers forming on both sides. It only required a couple of tries, but it has started to get predictable. ![v](https://i.imgur.com/QhtBl0H.jpeg) NAGA: 13 DEATHS The cool factor in this one is off the charts!! You're on the wasteland, in a Superbike, while being chased by a giant mechanical worm, and you destroy it by going inside her and shooting from there to get out. Pure Cinema is one of my favorite Boss fights in recent games. I just caught a scare when I saw some giant creepy crawlies heading towards me at fool's speed. That was unexpected but appropriate to the scenario. The difficulty was that I was losing track of where to go. Inside NAGA, it's pretty dark, and the rotating cogs would catch me off guard. ![v](https://i.imgur.com/4sqxTHm.jpeg) THE DISMANTLER: 6 DEATHS The Boss has multiple checkpoints and the most straightforward attack patterns that you can find in this game. His colors represent what he is going to do next. RED means he will go towards you and melee, BLUE means he will jump to the opposite side and send mortars from the distance until you get close to him, and GREEN is when he retreats and heals himself. The fight is easy because each color has a fatal flaw: RED, it's always a linear attack you can dodge, and another, if you evade 3 or 4 consecutive times, that one you cannot evade. BLUE, get close to him and dash forward when he tries to throw you off the arena, then always tilt to the right when he uses the machine gun while slashing to do the most damage. Green, deal with the minions and destroy the cocoons. ![v](https://i.imgur.com/MXsod9c.jpeg) MITRA: 11 DEATHS We are finally here, Cry Baby MITRA, the Rogue IA who thinks he survived the torture and is still human. The plot twist and fight are fantastic, but I would like a little more challenge, the last Boss in this tremendous game. His attacks are so telegraphed he even drops mines for you that if you take them off, it turns into an automatic cutscene where you dodge his attack. It was a lesser version of the AHRIMAN fight with too many gimmicks. My only problems were with the platform sections and the big beam at the last phase, which rotates around the arena. We started with a pretty solid but easy batch for the first game on the tier list.
