I wish I could play more than I can. As of now, I barely play Tekken because I don't have the time. Especially now that they added the option to see if a player disconnects frequently, I had a series that was supposed to show how bad the pluggers were; that series has gone into the drain, and honestly, I couldn't be happier. I barely see a plugger when I play Ranked now, which was not the case in March. Such a simple trick of showing proper disconnect rate got the pluggers running scared, as now, if people see you disconnect a lot, you won't get to fight anybody. This page is called DOJO, not because I aim to teach but to share everything fighting game-related that interests me and hopefully you. It has just been Tekken, as I love the game, but I will add other games, like the New Dragon Ball Sparking Zero, when I can. Anyway, I just wanted to clear that out of the way. Now, let's talk about the announcement of Season 1 of Tekken 8. On EVO JAPAN 2024, which just happened yesterday, Michael Murray and Harada, the faces of Tekken, went onto the stage to talk. If you know them, you know that they always show something before leaving. This is the usual joke they do to troll fans; they fake leave the stage until they say something like" We have one more thing to show," and Harada says," **Play the trailer**." This time, they had so much to show that they didn't even bother to make the joke; they announced that it was season 1 of Tekken 8, and it looked packed. There is one new stage, a balance update that seemed to add some new moves to some characters, but I am not sure. A BRAND NEW CHAPTER IN STORY MODE STARRING THE DLC CHARACTER EDDY GORDO, an in-depth photo mode, and finally, last but not least, a new DLC character that people did not expect at all, including me. Let's talk about each one in more detail: 1.**New stage coming this Summer called SEASIDE RESORT** It reminds me of the DLC Stage from Tekken 7 ISLAND PARADISE, the last DLC from that game, with the palm trees and the blue sky. 2. **The update for Battle Balance** showed what seem to be new moves: BRYAN, KUMA, LEROY, and ZAFINA. This may indicate that every character will get new tools to play it. They did the same with Tekken 7, so it wouldn't surprise me if they did it again. 3. ** A new chapter where Eddy takes the Main role, Autumn** In the trailer, it showed the army behind Eddy on the opposite side of Jin's fist bumping, which insinuates to me that they will start on opposite sides and with the power of NAKAMA, AKA Friendship, they will join forces to defeat a common enemy which will probably be NINA. 4.** A relaxed Photo mode will also arrive this Summer. ** There is not much to say, as having one has become a requirement. It looks incredible, but I have never been one to spend a lot of time on those things. Still, I appreciate having it to play around with from time to time. 5.** The new DLC Character is LIDIA SOBIESKA, Summer** That's right. The most badass Politician from Poland is back, and Damm, she looks good, regarding Gameplay, of course. I won't lie. I would have preferred BOB, but LIDIA is more than welcome. She used to have a unique fighting style, focusing on parries and devastating attacks. A very rich announcement was made, which excited me for the future of my favorite gaming franchise, TEKKEN.
