Escape From Tarkov fans saw the new Edition and they're not happy.

Another day, another pay-to-win scam in the gaming industry. Remember the Diablo situation, where a horse cost 60 or 70 dollars( I don't exactly remember), and the portals cost 30 for each color? Well, strap in cause this one is a doozy. For those who don't know, Escape From Tarkov is an Extraction first-person shooter set in a fictional Russia; you can play solo or try to survive with friends. The game was developed by Russian developers **BATTLESTATE GAMES** and has been in BETA since June 2017. It gained substantial traction thanks to the streamers on Platform Twitch in 2020. Since then, the community has been strong, and people like the realistic gameplay of this extraction multiplayer First Person Shooter. Back to today, people are not happy; here's why. There was a version of the game in the past called" The Edge of Darkness," where the developers asked the fans for 150 dollars, which included **guaranteed access to the close BETA**, **Digital copy pre-load**, **additional equipment and resources to the stash**, **initially good standing with all in-game traders**, **unique in-game ID**, and finally, **Free access to all subsequent DLC( Season Pass)**. The last one was the culprit for the outrage, as the developers said," Oh, we got you for the new DLC, AKA a brand new PVE. You're welcome." Yes, they consider a PVE a FULL DLC!! And that's not all; you think you're dumbass for agreeing to pay 150 dollars; what if I told you that now there is a new version, and it is **250 dollars!!!** Even better, those who spend 150 dollars only get temporary access to the perks of 250 dollars. They saw the backlash, considering people were mad about spending 150 dollars on a version that is no longer available, and now, if they wanted to get their perks back, boom, spend 250; it's disgusting and not even enough to describe the respect those developers have for their fans. The game is not even on his 1.0 version... Don't let these developers take advantage of you. If you want a fun extraction game without corporate greed, I recommend HELLDIVERS 2. Don't sell yourself short. I hate when people take advantage of their community's kindness. The fans bought the 150-dollar version to support the developers, and what do they do to repay their loyal fanbase donations? That's an excellent little fan. Now pay 250 dollars because I don't know, give me money. Anyway, I'm getting increasingly sick of these types of greed that always find ways to mess up a beloved product. This wasn't the first, and it won't be the last. It's up to us, the customers, to vote with our wallets because if we don't do anything, nothing will change and become normalized. Don't complain; just be happy that you got it. I don't want to go that far. Still, we are starting to see situations like this more and more often as gamers spend without thinking, not realizing that they are indicating to greedy corporations that they can profit as there are buyers no matter what they sell or for how much they are selling. LET'S CHANGE THIS!
