An anime that I got hooked on was One Punch Man, the idea is brilliant, a generic man that through a training regime surpasses the limit of human capabilities. Saitama, the main character was a breath of fresh air as a protagonist, the universe and characters represent society nowadays, everyone only cares about attention, status, and recognition. For example, each hero has a Grade from C to S, representing the lower class as C and S as the top of the top, most S-class heroes see lower classes as inferior human beings due to their rank. Saitama gets shit on because he looks nothing special and belongs to the lower ranks when in reality he is so far and above everyone. Season 1 ended with Saitama unleashing his first serious punch against the all-powerful Boros, Season 2 showed my favorite character Garou, a warrior who is full of himself as he destroys everyone with ease but when he meets Saitama, he doesn't stand a chance. I cannot wait for Season 3 as the trailer just dropped, and the animation looks leagues above and beyond Season 2. The trailer announced today focuses on Garou testing his limits and talking about how "HE" has no such thing as a limit, then the Saitama theme starts to kick in and changes to the Garou theme, it gave me shills the first time I saw it.
