When you're against the wall, that opens you up for a ton of damage while you're stuck. There is two ways to get out: Either you grab and even if the opponent breaks that gives you the other side or You press two times in the direction of the wall ⬅️⬅️ plus ↖️ to trigger the animation shown in the video. Every character can do it.
