Ghostrunner 2 changed the way i see good boss mechanics from now on.




I just finished Ghostrunner 2 and I have to say Im impressed. Im working on a review but since the budget is low first I need to put more tools on the site so because of that it will take a couple of weeks. One thing I want to talk about though is how surprised and impressed I was with the antagonists fights, they are something to behold and learn in all action games. Now, the real question is why was I so impressed? The reason is that they eliminated all of the bullshit that normally haunts great cinematic showdowns. NO QTE, NO SUPERARMOR, NO INVENCIBALITY FOR PLOT PURPOSES, the only bad thing for me was that sometimes it glitched but I understand because of how in command you are in this game. What I was dumbfounded by is the fact that lets say you e fighting and winning but you get hit and have to restart the whole fight just like any other game does, you think that to get to where you were you need to redo all of the boss attacks, well no because if for example, you parry all perfectly then you can end the fight pretty quickly which is something that I always wanted. THE GAME REWARDS YOU FOR HOW MUCH TIME AND EFFORT YOU PUT IN EVERY FIGHT!! I will show you an example of it in the video so you can see what I mean. Its the first Antagonist showdown.
